Description

Nexium® 24HR contains esomeprazole magnesium 20 mg, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces stomach acid production at the source. It is designed to treat frequent heartburn occurring 2 or more days per week and provides all-day and all-night protection when taken as directed.

Indications

Temporarily treats:

• Frequent heartburn (2 or more days per week)
• Acid reflux symptoms
• Acid indigestion
• Excess stomach acid discomfort

Not intended for immediate relief of acute heartburn symptoms. Full effect may take 1–4 days.

Directions

Adults 18 years and older:

• Take 1 capsule once daily before eating in the morning.
• Swallow whole with a glass of water.
• Use every day for 14 consecutive days.
• Do not take more than 1 capsule in 24 hours.

May take 1–4 days for full effect.
